Official Examination & Registration Timeline
Registration Opening Date: 01 July 2026
Registration Closing Date: 18 September 2026
Examination Date: 26 September 2026
Examination Format and Venue
The NEAB examination is a 3-hour online examination conducted via the ThinkExam platform.
Although the examination is completed online, candidates are still required to write at a designated physical venue. Recent examinations have been held at UNAM, but candidates must always confirm the final venue directly with NEAB.
Candidates are generally required to take their own laptop to the examination venue. Wi-Fi is provided at the venue, but students should ensure that their laptop is fully functional and suitable for writing the exam.
What Candidates May Take Into the Exam Hall
Based on recent examination arrangements, candidates may only take the following into the exam hall:
Laptop
Calculator
The following items are not allowed at the writing desk:
Notepad or paper
Pens
Cellphone
Study notes
Bags must be left to the side of the hall as instructed by the exam officials.
Students should always follow the final instructions issued by NEAB before the examination date.
Police Clearance Certificate
Candidates must also apply for a Police Clearance Certificate, also referred to as a Certificate of Conduct, at a police station in good time.
This certificate must be submitted to NEAB before the registration closing date. If you have not applied for it yet, we recommend doing so as soon as possible, as the process can take a few weeks.
Annual Examination Schedule
The NEAB typically conducts examinations a few times per year. While exact dates for the remaining sessions are announced closer to the time, exams generally take place in or around the following months:
March
June
September (Current Session)
December

The total cost for the examination registration is N$ 2,200.00. This fee is non-refundable and includes the following essential study materials:
